Abstract

El caso de una paciente de 44 años de edad, femenina, sin antecedentes  patológicos personales conocidos. La cual hace 4 años, presenta lesiones inmaduras, modulares, diseminada en tejidos blandos. En la anamnesis no se evidenció antecedentes de traumatismo, ni consumo de medicamentos o sustancias ricas en calcio y fósforo. Se le realizan estudios complementarios, se encontró  en las radiografías y los ultrasonidos calcificaciones en proyección de los tejidos blandos. No demostró  enfermedades subyacentes que pudieran justificar  estas lesiones y la biopsia de las mismas concluye  que se trata de una calcinosis cutánea, por todo lo anterior  se trata  de una calcinosis cutánea idiopática. Fue tratada con varios de los fármacos reportados en la literatura para el manejo de la enfermedad sin lograr respuesta adecuada.
