Registro nacional de consumidores de productos antidiabéticos
Abstract
Se presentan los resultados del Registro Nacional de Consumidores de Productos Antidiabéticos realizado en octubre noviembre de 1970. Se tomaron en cuenta distintos aspectos, tales como: total de consumidores, sexo, edad, tasa de prevalencia por provincia, lugar de residencia de los consumidores, así como tipo de producto que consumen. Se destaca la utilidad de este Registro para el mejor desarrollo del Programa Nacional de Diabetes del Ministerio de Salud Pública. Hasta hace pocos años, a la atención de las enfermedades infecciosas se daba una prioridad tal en la Salud Pública de nuestro país, que no había oportu-nidad o recursos para el estudio epidemiológico de otras enfermedades.Downloads
