Abstract

Se revisan 20 historias clínicas, en las que se exigen varios patrones fundamentales ya descritos; a dichos pacientes se les efectúa el llamado test o prueba de Hollander (dosificación del jugo gástrico y glicerina, previa estimulación con insulina por vía endovenosa en un paciente vaguectomizado). Se realizó dicho test a 20 pacientes vaguectomizados obteniéndose un resultado de 18 compatibles con vaguectomía completa (90% de los casos) dados por anaclorliidria en el jugo gástrico e hipoglicemia demostrable (menor de 50 mgs) y dc« que no lo eran. Se concluye que el test o prueba de Hollander, en condiciones idóneas y con los patrones exigidos presta una ayuda valiosa para determinar la magnitud de la fase vagal de la secreción gástrica en pacientes can vaguectomía completa.
