Incidencias de los factores de riesgo coronario en la comunidad. Estudio preliminar

Abstract

Se realiza un estudio mediante encuestas dirigidas a un área de la población urbana y rural comprendidas en el Plan del Médico de Familia, correspondiente al Área de Salud del Policlínico "Carlos J. Finlay”; estas encuestas se efectúan durante los meses de noviembre a marzo de 1985 y se recogen en ellas los factores de riesgo coronario que inciden en dicha población. La obesidad fue el factor de riesgo más sobresaliente con el 53,8%; las transformaciones vasculares periféricas, 36,2%, la ingestión de dieta rica en grasa animal, 33,7%, el hábito de fumar representó el 31,9% del total y la hipertensión arterial representó el 25,0 % de la población estudiada. Todos estos resultados son evaluados con trabajos realizados anteriormente sobre dicha problemática.
