Frecuencia de alteraciones lipídicas en pacientes del Centro Antidiabético del INEN

Abstract

Se estudiaron las alteraciones de los lípidos del plasma (colesterol, turbiedad, betaprebeta) en 118 pacientes del Centro Antidiabético al inicio y a los 4 días de evolución bajo tratamiento. Se encontró una alta frecuencia de lipopatías (52%) de la serie y mejoría notable en los lípidos alterados luego de su evolución"terapéutica. Se expresa que los niveles altos de turbiedad plasmática fue la alteración más frecuentemente encontrada (90% de los casos con hiperlipidemia). Se demostró una disminución considerable y evidente en los niveles de colesterol y turbiedad del plasma en los enfermos a los 4 días de tratamiento.
