Ruptura del tabique interventricular. Reporte de tres casos

Abstract

Se analizan 107 pacientes con diagnóstico positivo de infarto cardíaco agudo que ingresaron en la unidad de cuidados intensivos en un período de 15 meses. Tres de ellos presentaron ruptura del tabique interventricular, complicación que apareció en las primeras 48 horas de evolución, sospechada clínicamente por la aparición de soplo cardíaco, thrill y manifestaciones severas de bajo gasto cardíaco. Se hace una revisión bibliográfica breve sobre los aspectos de diagnóstico y tratamiento.
