Disfunción tiroidea y enfermedad coronaria crónica
Abstract
Se presentan los resultados de un análisis de 72 pacientes mayores de 50 años con tiroidopatía de diversa índole, de los cuales el 12,5% (nueve pacientes) tenían, además, una enfermedad coronaria crónica. En ningún caso fue necesario modificar el tratamiento para la cardiopatía. Se señalan como enfermedades asociadas la diabetes mellitus (tres pacientes), la hipertensión arterial (dos pacientes) y la hiperlipoproteinemia (un paciente). Se plantea que la disfunción tiroidea "per se" no es capaz de producir una enfermedad coronaria crónica.Downloads
