Acupuntura y asma bronquial en Etiopía
Abstract
Se realiza un trabajo con 25 pacientes que presentan asma bronquial, residentes 17 en el pueblo de Nazareth, provincia Shoa, y 9, residentes en Lemu, provincia Arusi, ambos lugares con distintos climas. El trabajo fue efectuado de mayo a diciembre de 1980, con tratamiento a base de acupuntura en número de 12 aplicaciones a cada paciente. Se consideraron la edad del paciente, sexo y años padeciendo asma. Fueron clasificadas las respuestas del tratamiento por acupuntura en buena, para el 53%; regular, para el 34,6%; e igual para el 11,5%. Se realiza una recordación sobre qué es la acupuntura; cómo actúa (teorías antigua y moderna); así como las ventajas de la misma. Se formulan conclusiones y recomendaciones.Downloads
