Papel de las comunicaciones arteriovenosas en el síndrome varicoso recurrencial
Abstract
Se plantea que con el objetivo de conocer el papel de las comunicaciones arteriovenosas en el síndrome varicoso recurrencial, fueron estudiados 28 pacientes que presentaban várices recurrenciales, a quienes previamente les fueron realizados estudios gasomé- trlcos y termométricos para determinar la existencia de elementos de arterialización de la sangre venosa. La edad media actual de los pacientes que fueron estudiados fue de 43 años con una desviación típica de ± 10, donde predominó el sexo femenino al acumular éste aproximadamente el 90% de la serie. La frecuencia de várices arteriali- zadas en el grupo de pacientes con recurrencia varicosa, fue ligeramente mayor que en el grupo con várices no recurrenciales, razón por la cual las respectivas frecuencias observadas carecieron de significación estadística para esta evidencia muestral.
