Seguimiento en polirradiculoneuritis aguda (PNRA)

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio de seguimiento neurológico y electrofisiológico a 50 pacientes que habían padecido de polirradiculoneuritis aguda idiopática, tipo LGBS, que habían ingresado en la Institución durante la fase aguda de la enfermedad. El tiempo transcurrido entre el comienzo del proceso agudo y el estudio de seguimiento fue de 5 y 15 años. A todos los pacientes se les realizó examen físico neurológico y medición de las velocidades de conducción motora de los nervios cubital y ciático externo, así como la velocidad de conducción sensitiva del nervio mediano. Se realizaron estudios de asociación estadística entre distintos parámetros de la enfermedad aguda, tratando de establecer relaciones entre los mismos y la ocurrencia de secuelas clínicas y electrofisiológicas. Se establecen comparaciones entre los resultados más importantes del trabajo y los obtenidos por otros investigadores que han abordado el mismo tema de estudio.
