Efectos del atenolol y el propranolol sobre la presión arterial y el electrocardiograma, en un grupo de pacientes hipertensos lábiles

Abstract

Se investigaron los efectos de dos betabloqueadores con propiedades diferentes: atenolol y propranolol, sobre la presión arterial, la frecuencia cardíaca, así como el intervalo PR, el complejo QRS y el intervalo QTc, en un grupo de pacientes hipertensos lábiles. Ambas drogas redujeron significativamente y de forma similar la presión arterial y la frecuencia cardíaca. El propranolol en la dosis administrada, prolongó significativamente el intervalo PR y el complejo QRS. Tanto el atenolol como el propranolol acortaron el intervalo QTc.
