Cistoadenocarcinoma de ovario con ascitis e hidrotórax: una variante del síndrome de Meigs clásico: Informe de un caso

Abstract

Se realiza una revisión del síndrome clásico descrito por Meigs y le evolución conceptual de la entidad a través de los años; se estudian someramente los carcinomas ováricos especialmente los clstoadenocarcinomas. Se presenta un caso de cistoadenocarcl- noma papilar de ovarlo con ascitis o hidrotórax intervenido quirúrgicamente con desaparición evolutiva de los derrames pleural y peritoneal después de la exéresis del tumor. Se acompaña de ilustraciones del estudio histico del tumor.
