Análisis del contenido de insulina inmunorreactiva y péptido C en casos de alteraciones de la tolerancia a la glucosa en familiares de pacientes con diabetes mellitus
Abstract
Se determinó el contenido de insulina inmunorreactiva (IIR1 y péptido C inmunorreactivo (PCIR) durante una PTG oral, en familiares de pacientes con diabetes juvenil y en personas sanas. El contenido de PCIR era 2,5 a 5 veces más alto que el contenido de IIR. Las personas con resultados normales y dudosos de la PTG, tenían las curvas de la IIR y PCIR idénticas y se diferenciaban en las curvas de los pacientes con diabetes latente y manifiesta. La relación molar PCIR/IIR era diferente en los casos con resultados “patológicos” de la PTG en comparación con las normales.Downloads
