Abstract

Se presenta por primera vez en Cuba un caso de alopecia mucinosa o más propiamente mucinosis folicular. Este caso aumenta la distribución geográfica de la afección que había sido descrita previamente en Norte y Sur-América, Europa, Sur-Africa, etc. (Consideramos que la afección es más frecuente de lo que se ha señalado y que la observación cuidadosa de los casos y el hecho de tenerla en mente aumentará el índice de frecuencia No hemos encontrado en nuestro caso las alteraciones de sensibilidad informado por otros autores.
