Hamartoma del pulmón. Informe de diez casos
Abstract
Se presentan los casos de 10 pacientes que presentan hamartoma del pulmón. Nuestros pacientes eran del sexo masculino y de la raza blanca, con edades que oscilaron entre 15 y 68 años. En 6 pacientes (60%) la hemoptisis, dolor torácico, tos y expectoración fueron los síntomas presentados; se mantuvieron asintomáticos 4 pacientes (40%). Los exámenes de laboratorio, bacteriano y citológico de esputos fueron de poco valor. La radiografía de tórax reveló enfermedad en todos los pacientes estudiados, lo que fue confirmado por la tomografía. El diagnóstico se confirmó por toracoto- mía y estudio hístíco del tumor. Todos los pacientes fueron tratados quirúrgicamente con resecciones parciales. Se revisa la literatura médica y se comparan nuestros hallazgos con los de otros autores.Downloads
