Cultivo del líquido durante la diálisis peritoneal
Abstract
Se estudiaron 538 cultivos de líquido ascítico pre y posdiálisis realizados a 17 pacientes; se encontró el 17% de éstos positivos. Se destacó la disminución de cultivos positivos con el uso de antibióticos y un hecho de gran importancia, la ausencia de manifestaciones clínicas de peritonitis en la gran mayoría de los casos, aún con cultivos positivos. Se estudió el grado de contaminación ambiental y su posible influencia sobre el resultado de los cultivos de diálisis.Downloads
