Clorhidrato de ketamina: anestésico para cardioversión
Abstract
Se estudia el resultado del empleo del clorhidrato de ketamina como anestésico único en 10 pacientes, cuyo tratamiento era la cardioversión eléctrica por presentar arritmias ventrlculares y supraventriculares resistentes a tratamiento medicamentoso. Una dosis única de 2 mg/kg de peso corporal produjo una anestesia adecuada de 12 a 25 minutos de duración con despertar suave y sin agitación psicomotora. Todos los pacientes requirieron de una sola descarga y recuperaron de inmediato el ritmo sinusal. La droga produjo un efecto estimulante del aparato cardiovascular muy ventajoso en comparación al de las otras drogas empleadas para la cardioversión.Downloads
