La aspirinoterapia en la trombosis arteriocerebral
Abstract
Se informan los resultados obtenidos en el transcurso de más de tres años con el ácido acetiIsalicíIico (aspirina) en el tratamiento de la trombosis arteriocerebral, a la dosis de 2 a 4 gramos diarios en un total de 98 enfermos, se comparan sus resultados con 90 enfermos que no recibieron el medicamento, obteniéndose buenos resultados en la trombosis, y excelentes en la isquemia cerebral transitoria, distanciándose el tiempo de aparición de los síntomas de insuficiencia circulatoria basilar o carotídea (vértigos, pérdida del conocimiento, disartria, etc.) no se necesitaron determinaciones periódicas del tiempo de coagulación ni de sangramiento (Lee-White, Duke y dosificación de protrombina), no se observaron accidentes hemorrágicos fatales en el transcurso del tratamiento.Downloads
