Algunos aspectos terapéuticos en las glomerulopatías primarias

Abstract

Se plantea que aunque desde hace años se viene utilizando gran variedad de drogas para el tratamiento de las glomerulopatías primarias evolutivas, por su notable peligrosidad los resultados de su uso todavía son dudosos. Se señala que sólo se exceptúan la prednisona para acortar las crisis en el síndrome nefrótico con cambios mínímos; y la ciclofosfamida para disminuir las recaídas, ya que ambas son de utilidad. Se destaca que el empleo de anticoagulantes y antiagregantes plaquetarios en la glomerulonefritis pro- liferativa de mal pronóstico, aún está en período de evaluación, aunque ofrece grandes perspectivas. La inmunoterapia se encuentra todavía en fase experimental. Se concluye que determinar las causas y conocer la patogenia nos permitirá poder aplicar tratamiento más racional para estas afecciones que son las que dan lugar a un gran porcentaje de insuficiencias renales terminales, las cuales traen como consecuencia la realización de diálisis y trasplantes renales.
