Algunos aspectos de las alteraciones lipídicas en la obesidad infantil
Abstract
Se presentan los resultados del estudio de 90 niños obesos (49 varones y 41 hembras). En todos, la cifra de colesterol estaba dentro de límites normales. El índice beta/prebeta se encontró elevado (> 0,6) en 12 pacientes, no así después de realizar dieta reductora de peso sin necesidad de recurrir a medicamentos antilipémicos. Se evidencia la efectividad del índice beta/prebeta como proceder sencillo para el diagnóstico de trastornos lipídicos en cualquier medio asístencial.Downloads
