Alteraciones electrofisiológicas en la insuficiencia renal crónica (IRC)
Abstract
Se presentan los datos obtenidos en el estudio clínico y electrofísiológico de 10 pacientes portadores de una IRC (insuficiencia renal crónica), bajo tratamiento con diálisis. Se encontró que ninguno de los casos presentados mostraba una neuropatía clínica evidente, lo que pudiera estar relacionado con el resultado adecuado de las diálisis. La VCM y la laten- cia proximal mostraron valores medios totalmente patológicos, que permitieron confirmar la existencia, en todos los casos, de una neuropatía subclínica, habiéndose demostrado una relación funcional entre la VCM y la amplitud distal y proximal. Esta neuropatía subclínica fue de distribución claramente simétrica, y es notable la disociación encontrada entre los hallazgosclínicos y la VCM.
