Taquicardia ventricular prolongada (11 días) con evolución favorable. Diagnóstico mediante electrocardiograma intracavitario
Abstract
Se presenta el caso de un paciente de 61 años de edad, portador de una cardiopatía isquémica, en el cual se diagnosticó una taquicardia ventricular de 11 días de duración, refractaria al tratamiento con drogas, la que evolucionó favorablemente con tratamiento de cardioversión por choque eléctrico. El diagnóstico se realizó mediante ECG intracavi- rio, se hizo énfasis en la importancia de este proceder, para el diagnóstico, así como en la sencillez de su técnica. Es éste uno de los pocos casos publicados en la literatura médica Internacional, y el primero en nuestro país, donde en presencia de una taquicardia ventricular prolongada se realiza ECG intracavitario para precisar el diagnóstico.Downloads
